the towers were commissioned by linus mendenhall for his apartment on buchanan street just above the mint in san francisco; an avid art collector, linus was intrigued by a stereoluz installation he had seen in hayes valley; a mutual acquaintance put us in touch and we were able to arrive at a well-suited complement to the rich woods of his dining room table
