restaurateurs scott youkilis and mike pierce have created a restaurant and wine bar with a distinctly american feel; they approached me because they were especially interested in the aesthetic I had developed, using illuminated wood veneers; the largest piece that grew out of our intensive consultations became a focal point for the tiny establishment, providing a leitmotif for the dining experience and a symbol of the american maverick
